Mushroom coffee. When I speak these words to the average Starbucks, Kenco and Nescafé drinker, I’m met with squished up faces, and head shakes with comments like “Mushrooms?! In coffee?”.
This reaction is not unusual and a year ago, I would have had the same gut reaction.
However, in my quest to remove toxins from my body and with the realisation this would also include the removal of coffee (god forbid), I went in search of a healthy alternative.
